A Pretty Penny

The University of Missouri chancellor announced today that they reached the fund raising goal of $1 billion.
Which is many, many pretty pennies indeed.
According to the press release, they are the only public university in Missouri and one of 20 public universities nationwide to reach this goal.
The campaign started in 2000 and finished just in time, considering the current rocky economy. The money will be used to support scholarships, research, and other programs. Learn more on the campaign website.
